Background: Various Federal groups and agencies
require, or strongly recommend, a Value Engineering Study be performed on their projects or projects involving Federal moneys. They also
often recommend or require a consultant's technical people to be trained in Value Engineering.
Value Engineering Studies: If your project or contract has been
identified as needing a Value Engineering study, we can help. First, our firm specializes in preparing for, facilitating, and reporting the
generated VE study results. We can even help you write the contract documents and other materials so that you can avoid common contract pitfalls.
Further, our reporting system can be used in future audits to show managers, auditors, and others that the VE was performed as required by
law and regulations, and the benefits were derived. SAMI can even make the value study documents available to
others in your organization, so that the information can be shared as intended by the law and regulations (see

and actual study operations record).

History: Since 1988 the Federal government has been strongly recommending that agencies implement value programs to perform VE. In 1996, Congress decided
that too few agencies were performing it and required it (PL 104-106). Since then, more requirements have been created. SAMI assisted many of the agencies in generating their initial guidance documents to meet these requirements. Accordingly, SAMI is extremely
familiar with the requirements and objectives involved. We have conducted thousands of successful studies for governments, Federal, state, International, UN, etc. SAMI is the only company that can offer VE reporting tools for internal, OMB, and other reporting;
